Colts’ Julius Brents suffers quad injury vs. Browns

Julius Brents will not return due to a quad injury.

Indianapolis Colts cornerback Julius Brents suffered a quadriceps injury against the Cleveland Browns and will not return to the game.

Brents suffered his injury during the second quarter on a sideline throw to Browns tight end David Njoku. He was in visible pain and walked off the field with a serious limp.

A few minutes after the third quarter start, Brents was ruled out. Taking his place will be Darrell Baker Jr. on the outside along with fellow rookie Jaylon Jones.
