The Indianapolis Colts have been informed of several positive COVID-19 tests and will be working remotely as they work to confirm those tests, the team announced Friday morning.

The team released the following statement early on Friday regarding the positive tests. The practice facility will be closed while the team follows league protocol in confirming the positive tests:

This morning, we were informed that several individuals within our organization have tested posted for COVID-19. The team is currently in the process of confirming those tests. In the meantime, the practice facility will be closed and the team will work remotely while following NFL protocols. We are in communication with the NFL and will have more information when available.

This is the first time the Colts have had an issue with COVID-19 since the league first starting testing during training camp back in July.

Being so close to Sunday, this could certainly impact the Week 6 game against the Cincinnati Bengals, but the team will be working remotely as it waits for the confirmation of the tests.
