The Indianapolis Colts are electing to hold a walkthrough Friday instead of a regular practice ahead of the Week 2 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
While Fridays would typically include a regular practice for the final time before the game on Sunday, the Colts are keeping it light before they head down to Duval County.
Definitely odd. Here’s the deal: My understanding is the Colts had two unusually physical practices on Wednesday and Thursday, so they’re backing off today as they near game day. https://t.co/fGss8cmolv

Whether this has to do with the big names on the injury report remains to be seen. Defensive tackle DeForest Buckner hasn’t practiced all week due to a hip injury while wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. (quad) and cornerback Kenny Moore II (hip) were both limited Wednesday and non-participants Thursday.
The Colts haven’t won a game in Jacksonville since the 2014 season so we’ll see if this change of routine will benefit the injured players going into Sunday.
