The Indianapolis Colts will be halfway through their 2020 schedule following the Week 9 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens and while it is still a ways away, the 2021 NFL draft order is beginning to take shape.
Indy will be focused on the upcoming playoff push for the next few months. They are currently holding the No. 6 seed in the AFC playoff race with some vital matchups looming in November and December.
But following the Week 8 games, the Colts also hold the No. 22 overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft.
This, of course, is subject to change. We still have nine games to play before the majority of the draft order is finalized. And if the Colts wind up making the playoffs, we won’t know their true draft spot until their season ends.
But it’s still wise to keep an eye on where the Colts may fall. Even though they are 5-2 right now, there are still plenty of positions that need additions through the draft.
More of that talk will come later in the season and during the offseason but for now, just use this as an update on where the Colts currently stand.
