One of the coaches on the Arizona Cardinals’ coaching staff from the last several seasons not returning in 2023 has a new job. NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero reported Wednesday that the Indianapolis Colts were hiring Cam Turner to be their quarterbacks coach.
Turner had been on the Cardinals’ coaching staff since 2018.
Turner has worked with quarterbacks like Cam Newton and Kyler Murray. In Indianapolis, they are expected to draft a quarterback.
Turner first joined the Cardinals in 2018 as an offensive assistant under head coach Steve Wilks. He became an assistant quarterbacks coach under Kliff Kingsbury in 2019, was promoted to quarterbacks coach in 2021 and was promoted to passing game coordinator/quarterbacks in 2022.
