There is a lot of optimism surrounding the Indianapolis Colts and their chances to make it back to the playoffs after missing out in 2019.
With a few changes to the roster at some very important positions and a number of starters returning to the mix, the Colts are viewed as a playoff-caliber team in 2020.
The Super Bowl odds from BetMGM reflect that as well as the Colts were given 20/1 odds to win Super Bowl LV. That is good for the eighth-highest in the NFL and the third-highest in the AFC.
The Colts have been viewed as favorites to win the AFC South in 2020, though some sites have the Titans taking the crown after they reached the AFC Championship game.
With Philip Rivers looking sharp for the majority of training camp, the upgrade the Colts need at quarterback will ultimately determine how far the Colts can go. After a down year from Jacoby Brissett, the Colts need Rivers to provide that boost in the passing game.
The AFC South will be a wide-open division in 2020. The Colts and Titans are mostly viewed as the favorites and even though the Texans aren’t in as good of shape after shipping away DeAndre Hopkins, they shouldn’t be completely ruled out as long as Deshaun Watson is there.
If the Colts wind up winning the the division, they will have a tough time getting to the Super Bowl through the Ravens and Chiefs, but there is still a lot of optimism for a big year in Indy.
