The Indianapolis Colts elevated guard Jake Eldrenkamp from the practice squad to the active roster, the team announced Saturday.
The Colts placed kicker Adam Vinatieri and wide receiver Parris Campbell on the injured reserve list at the beginning of the week, which opened up two spots on the active roster. They used one spot to sign wide receiver Dontrelle Inman and now the roster rounds out with the elevation of Eldrenkamp.
Eldrenkamp has been with the Colts since being claimed off of waivers on May 21. He spent the entire offseason competing for a spot but was ultimately waived at the roster cuts in September. He was signed to the practice squad and spent the entire season there up until this point.
Eldrenkamp is a depth piece and will be working behind Mark Glowinski, Quenton Nelson and Joe Haeg.
