Colts downgrade 2 players, Quenton Nelson clears concussion protocol

Injury updates before Week 17.

Indianapolis Colts defensive tackle Denico Autry and cornerback Kenny Moore were downgraded on the injury report while left guard Quenton Nelson cleared the league’s concussion protocol, the team announced Saturday.

Autry, who has been dealing with a concussion, was downgraded from doubtful to out. Moore, who has been dealing with an ankle injury, was downgraded from questionable to doubtful on the injury report.

This will be Autry’s second consecutive game missed with a concussion while Moore is slated to miss his fourth consecutive game with the ankle injury.

Nelson suffered his concussion during the Week 16 game against the Panthers. However, he seemed to have recovered quickly enough to return this week. If and when he starts Sunday, the Colts will have their starting offensive line for all 16 games for the first time since 2005.
