The Indianapolis Colts are waiting for the results of confirmation after several positive COVID-19 tests came back on Friday, which has forced the team to work remotely.
While the team waits for more information, they have closed media availability on Friday. The team made the decision to close media availability due to the “fluidity of the situation.”
This means the information we will likely receive in updates will come either in a statement from the team or from reports around the league on Friday.

Once the Colts get more information on the positive tests, it wouldn’t be a surprise if general manager Chris Ballard did hold a quasi press conference to address the issue.
While the Colts and the league wait for more information, the game is reportedly still on with the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 6. The matchup, of course, is in jeopardy given how close we are to Sunday so the possibility of the game being moved to Sunday night, Monday or Tuesday is on the table.
There is even the worst-case scenario that the Colts and Bengals have to reschedule this Week 6 game. If they have to do that, it seems there is a relatively easy fix, though.
It will be interesting to see what comes of the new information on Friday, but it doesn’t appear there will be any media availability before the weekend.
