If the Arizona Cardinals have interest in Indianapolis Colts center Ryan Kelly, something might happen by Sunday.
Kelly, a three-time Pro Bowl center, has a $1 million roster bonus due Sunday. He is reportedly available for trade and might be released.
If he is going to be traded or released, it will come before the roster bonus is paid out.
The Cardinals should be in the market for a center. Kelly has connections to the Cardinals’ coaching staff. Head coach Jonathan Gannon was on Frank Reich’s staff from 2018-2020 and new Cardinals offensive line coach Klayton Adams was with the Colts the last four years, including two as an assistant offensive line coach.
If a trade materializes, it will likely happen before the bonus is paid and, if Kelly is ultimately released, the Cardinals could be in play.
