Colts C Ryan Kelly named alternate for 2025 Pro Bowl

Colts’ center Ryan Kelly was named an alternate for the 2025 Pro Bowl.

Indianapolis Colts’ center Ryan Kelly was named an alternate for the 2025 AFC Pro Bowl roster.

Joining him as an alternate is defensive tackle DeForest Buckner, while three other Colts players made the Pro Bowl roster.

Kelly has appeared in nine games this season. He would miss Weeks 10-15 on injured reserve with a knee injury.

On the year, Kelly has surrendered only one sack and nine pressures over 280 pass-blocking snaps. By PFF’s pass-blocking efficiency metric, Kelly ranks 18th out of 42 eligible centers. In run-blocking grade–for what it’s worth–he ranks 28th.

Kansas City’s Creed Humphrey and Baltimore’s Tyler Linderbaum were the two centers that made the Pro Bowl roster for the AFC.

If one of those players opts our of participating in the Pro Bowl, then Kelly will have the opportunity to play.

With Kelly set to hit free agency this offseason, coupled with the play from rookie Tanor Bortolini this season, it is possible that Sunday’s game against Jacksonville could be his last in a Colts’ uniform.
