Colts are now 11.5-point favorites vs. Jets in Week 3

The spread increases for the Colts.

The Indianapolis Colts (1-1) opened the week as very heavy favorites over the New York Jets (0-2), and the spread has turned even more in the favor of the former.

After opening the week as 10.5-point favorites, the line has changed so that the Colts will enter the weekend as 11.5-point home favorites for the Week 3 matchup at Lucas Oil Stadium, per BetMGM.

Given what the Jets are dealing with on both sides of the ball and considering how they’ve started the season, it makes sense that the Colts are heavy favorites. While Indy was upset by the Jaguars in Week 1, this is a bit of a different story.

The Jets are dealing with issues ranging from the head coach to the players on the field. Though there should be some familiar faces as 11 former Colts are currently on the Jets roster.

This should be an easy game for the Colts to handle. The NFL is always unpredictable, but the Colts are the far superior team and the Jets are about as dysfunctional as it gets in the league.
