Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson will return to practice Wednesday as the team prepares for the Week 4 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.
This is the first time Richardson has practiced since suffering a concussion in Week 2, and it’s one of the first steps in getting him through the league’s protocol and back on the field.

Richardson still needs to continue progressing through the protocol, but the fact that he is able to practice to begin the week gives him a good chance to return for the Week 4 matchup against the Rams.
Head coach Shane Steichen also mentioned that center Ryan Kelly will practice Wednesday but like Richardson, he is still in the concussion protocol.
