Colts’ Anthony Richardson had surgery to correct nasal septum

Colts QB Anthony Richardson had surgery to correct his nasal septum and is expected to return Tuesday.

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson had surgery to correct his nasal septum and will miss training camp practice, the team announced Monday.

The team also said in its statement that Richardson is expected to return to practice Tuesday depending on how it feels.

Richardson isn’t expected to miss much time from this procedure, and Gardner Minshew will take the first-team reps with the offense in the meantime. The pair split the starting reps during the first week of training camp with Minshew seeing a slightly bigger workload.

This will certainly be something to monitor simply considering it has to do with Richardson, but hopefully he’ll be back on the field Tuesday.
