After missing the Week 5 game against the Cleveland Browns due to a rib injury, it appears Indianapolis Colts left tackle Anthony Castonzo has returned to practice on Wednesday.
As the team prepares for a home matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 6, they returned to the practice field on Wednesday. Castonzo was seen on the field in full pads for the first time after failing to log a practice last week.
LT Anthony Castonzo in pads and out here at Colts practice today.
That’s a very good sign.

Le’Raven Clark filled in for Castonzo during the Week 5 loss against the Browns and struggled in containing the edge rushers. Though it did consist of Myles Garrett, who is a front runner for the Defensive Player of the Year award, it was painfully obvious how much Castonzo’s absence impacted the offense.
Castonzo returning to practice on Wednesday is a great sign for his prospects to play on Sunday. The Colts will release their first injury report of the week following practice.
