The Indianapolis Colts are officially set to begin organized team activities (OTAs) on Tuesday, which will be the first time this offseason the entire team gets together for workouts.
Essentially, the Colts will have three sets of OTA sessions—May 24-26, June 1-3 and June 13-16. They also will have a minicamp set for June 7-9.
OTAs don’t allow the Colts to wear pads, but this is considered Phase III of the offseason workout program. That means they can begin running drills against each other in 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 formats.
It should be noted that there isn’t a number yet for veteran offensive tackle Dennis Kelly, and quarterback Nick Foles is expected to sign as early as this week.
