Colorado women’s basketball to open the season against LSU

The reigning national champion should be a great test for the Buffaloes

To be the best, you have to beat the best. The Colorado Buffaloes women’s basketball squad will certainly put that theory to the test after news broke that they will open the season against LSU Tigers.

Colorado will face LSU on November 6th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas Nevada as part of an opening series of games put on by the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.

The Tigers are coming off a 34-2 campaign and did what the Buffs couldn’t do in downing the Iowa Hawkeyes to capture their first national title in program history. This match-up will represent a rubber match of sorts as the all-time series is tied at two games apiece between the two schools. Tickets will go on sale in July for the game.
