Colorado target Julian ‘JuJu’ Lewis decommits from USC Trojans

BREAKING: Colorado target Julian Lewis has decommitted from USC

ESPN college football insider Pete Thamel reported Sunday that five-star quarterback and Colorado recruiting target Julian “JuJu” Lewis is no longer committed to the USC Trojans.

Lewis had been committed to USC since August 2023, but the Buffs, Indiana Hoosiers, Georgia Bulldogs and others have since made major pushes to land the fifth-ranked class of 2025 QB (per the 247 composite).

Despite Lewis visiting Georgia this weekend, Colorado is considered the favorite to land his commitment. Three 247Sports recruiting experts, including BuffStampede’s Adam Munsterteiger, and multiple On3 analysts have logged recent predictions for Lewis to land at CU.

If Lewis does commit to Colorado, he would become the favorite to replace starting quarterback Shedeur Sanders next season.

Colorado head coach Deion Sanders and his staff are also recruiting class of 2026 Oklahoma Sooners quarterback commit Jaden O’Neal, who visited Boulder this weekend.
