Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders will miss the Buffaloes’ game against Utah.
The junior quarterback left last week’s game against Washington State with numbness in his hand, and he did not return.
Sanders’ 2023 season comes to a close with 3,230 passing yards and 27 touchdowns, inside the top 10 in the nation in both metrics entering the week. He’s completed 69.3% of his passes for 7.5 yards per attempt, and he threw just three interceptions this season.
Sanders is eligible for the 2024 NFL Draft, so it is possible he has played his final game of college football if he chooses to declare
Colorado wide receiver Xavier Worthy, who leads the team with 908 receiving yards, also will not play against the Utes.
