Colorado men’s basketball welcoming Towson to Boulder for 2023-24 season opener

Star freshman Cody Williams is set to make his college debut this evening against Towson

The Colorado men’s basketball team enters the 2023-24 season with a ton of hype as the Buffs sit right outside the AP Top 25. Their roster is loaded and the incoming talent that freshman Cody Williams brings to the table will be watched by NBA scouts and analysts all season long.

Colorado’s season begins on Monday at 5:30 p.m. MT (Pac-12 Network) with a home contest against Towson.

Towson finished third in the Colonial Athletic Association last season with an overall record of 21-12, so this will be no walk in the park for the Buffs.

After the Towson game, the Buffs face Grambling State, Milwaukee, Richmond, Iona, Colorado State and Pepperdine before a massive showdown with Miami (FL) in Brooklyn.

If the Buffs want to live up to the hype, they need to get started on the right foot against Towson on Monday at the CU Events Center. Fortunately, they are heavy favorites on their home court.
