Colorado men’s basketball reportedly set to play in star-studded 2024 Maui Invitational

Tad Boyle has a test ready for his 2024-25 Buffs

Based on what we saw last year, the still very young CU men’s basketball team has a bright future ahead. Tad Boyle scrapped the rebuilding phase and brought his Buffs into the NIT.

However, the Buffs’ mediocre nonconference resume likely held them out of the NCAA Tournament. Now that Colorado has more experience, Boyle seems ready to test his squad.

According to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports, the Buffs are one of seven teams currently set to headline the eight-team 2024 Maui Invitational. Colorado will be joined by North Carolina, UConn, Michigan State, Memphis, Iowa State and Dayton.

Nothing is official yet, but that should be a great test for the 2024 Buffs.
