One of the more enjoyable parts of each offseason is learning about current players changing uniform numbers and which numbers incoming freshmen choose. On Sunday, the Colorado Buffaloes men’s basketball team announced the answers to those questions on Twitter.
Colorado revealed the uniform numbers for a total of 11 players, including four highly-touted freshmen and a transfer center from TCU. Here are those number changes:
- J’Vonne Hadley — 1
- Julian Hammond III — 3
- RJ Smith — 5
- Cody Williams — 10
- Bangot Dak — 12
- Courtney Anderson — 13
- Tristan Jackson — 15
- Jack Pease — 34
- Assane Diop — 35
- Grady Whitt — 40
- Eddie Lampkin Jr. — 44
The first few numbers that jump out at me are J’Vonne Hadley wearing No. 1, Cody Williams picking No. 10 and Courtney Anderson rocking No. 13. Given the hype that Williams has received entering next season, we can expect to see a lot of fans wearing that No. 10 in the CU Events Center next season.
