There’s no denying that certain programs throughout the country just find ways to stay consistently successful on the gridiron while others struggle to remain relevant. Then, there are also programs that are just one move away from becoming one of the premier schools in college football. These programs are often referred to as “sleeping giants.”
Recently, the Colorado Buffaloes were listed as a sleeping giant by College Football Blue Bloods on X (formerly known as Twitter). With head coach Deion Sanders now in Boulder, the Buffs football program is certainly capable of returning to its glory days of the early 1990s.
Bringing in Coach Prime could turn into that one move that takes Colorado from the bottom of relevancy to the peak of the college football mountain.
