Following a win over the Cincinnati Bearcats on Oct. 27, the Colorado Buffaloes are enjoying their second bye week of the season and will return to the field on Nov. 9 against the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
Colorado’s Week 11 matchup in Lubbock will mark its first game against the Red Raiders since 2010. Dating back to their first meeting in 1962, the two Big 12 Conference teams are an even 5-5 against each other.
Third-year head coach Joey McGuire’s Red Raiders are 5-3 (3-2 Big 12) entering their Week 10 game at Iowa State. Quarterback Behren Morton (2.063 passing yards) and running back Tahj Brooks (925 rushing yards) have both been exceptional, but Texas Tech’s defense has allowed a Big 12-worst 36.0 points per game.
Kickoff time and television for Colorado-Texas Texas is currently TBD.
