Colorado football embracing summer conditioning

The intensity level continues to increase for the #cubuffs as they navigate summer conditioning

The Colorado men’s basketball team is not the only squad on campus putting in work this summer. The Buffs’ football team opened summer conditioning last week and Uncle Neely of Thee Pregame Show was on hand to speak with players.

As Brian Howell of Buffzone noted, the Buffaloes currently sit at 79 scholarship players as they open workouts, which means that even more new faces should be coming in. Additionally, walk-on talents such as Charlie Offerdahl could be put on scholarship. These summer workouts are vital as Colorado is looking to rebound and establish a winning culture in the first year under head coach Deion Sanders (h/t BuffZone):

“It’s definitely something that’s going to get us better,” quarterback Shedeur Sanders said in a video posted by Thee Pregame Show. “We all come in here with a different mindset than we did in the spring and the winter time because we know, OK it’s real. I know it’s gonna be real special.”

The summer session also presents a great chance for under-the-radar players and new faces to start making a name for themselves with the coaches.
