The Colorado Buffaloes are winding down an eventful nonconference slate with a Week 3 matchup against in-state rival Colorado State. Saturday will mark the first time since 2019 that the Buffaloes and Rams have faced off and the first time since 2009 that they’ve met at Folsom Field.
Because this article is meant to bring up what we’re most concerned about, it’s as good a time as any to mention that Colorado lost that 2009 contest in Boulder, 23-17.
While the CU Buffs are 8-2 over the Rams since that 2009 disaster, anything can happen. Here are five concerns that I have for Colorado heading into the 2023 Rocky Mountain Showdown:
