The writers at Colorado Buffaloes Wire have given two record predictions for the 2024 season, with myself predicting a nine-win season in February and managing editor Jack Carlough handing out eight wins this month. To ensure we weren’t biased, we searched for other record projections from beat writers, and Scott Procter of The Coloradoan offered his take on Tuesday.
As Buffs fans eagerly await the start of head coach Deion Sanders’ second season in Boulder, they’re looking for answers to burning questions about the depth chart and what we’ll see from the team. Answering those questions in a Colorado football mailbag, Procter gave an optimistic final record prediction.
Procter sees Colorado beginning the season 5-0 before likely suffering its first loss against Kansas State. After that, he predicts the Buffs will win every game except for Utah and Oklahoma State.
