The Colorado Buffaloes (13-6, 5-4 Pac-12) and Washington Huskies (9-8, 4-3) tangle Thursday in Seattle. The game at Alaska Airlines Arena is slated to tip-off at 11 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Colorado vs. Washington odds and lines and make our expert college basketball picks, predictions and bets.

Rankings courtesy of the Ferris Mowers Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports.

Colorado is coming off a rough schedule stretch as it played Arizona, UCLA, and USC between Jan. 13-22. Those three are currently ranked third, eighth, and 15th in the nation. CU lost all three games although it mixed in a Jan. 15 win at Arizona State in between. Colorado earned an 82-78 road win against a decent Oregon team Tuesday.

Washington plays at the second-fastest pace in the Pac-12, but the Huskies rank just tied for eighth in scoring with 69.6 points per game because they’re shooting an anemic 39.7% from the floor. UW shot just 30.9% in its most recent game, an 84-56 loss at Oregon Sunday.

Colorado at Washington odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Colorado 72, Washington 66

Money line

Colorado beat Washington by 14 points (78-64) in Boulder, Colo., Jan. 9. That was without the Buffs getting to the line much, which is something they’ve done quite well of late, and with the Huskies going 10-for-23 from distance.

That last figure is key because Colorado sometimes has a blind spot against teams that knock down 3s, however, Washington is a bottom-tier squad in that regard.

Perhaps lost in the schedule situation is Colorado’s improving defense. The Buffaloes have held foes to a 39.8% mark from the floor over their last 10 games.

TAKE COLORADO (-155).

Against the spread

The Buffaloes are 3-0-1 ATS in their last four games as favorites.

The Huskies are 8-27 against the spread in games with totals in the 130s over the last three years.

The favorite has gone 5-1 ATS in the last six games in this series.

BACK THE BUFFALOES -2.5 (-110). Consider this the best play for this contest.

Over/Under

The Huskies defense figures to be a bit overvalued here. Tag the OVER 136.5 (-115) with just a slight lean, although waiting out a better price or lower total is suggested.
