We tend to focus on the Masters champions dinner year to year, but it’s time we give the PGA Championship dinner some love too.
I just learned that it’s a tradition thanks to Golfweek, and we got a look at the menu from host Collin Morikawa, who won the Wanamaker trophy last year.
He started off with Harding Park Clam Chowder (shoutout to the course where he won last year) or Cobb salad. He followed it up with Cobia or fried chicken. But then there are offerings at each table that take this menu to new heights: steak, spinach, brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes and asparagus.
That’s right, you can have your main AND steak and soooo many sides. Add in the wine and dessert (cookies and ice cream) and this is perfect:
Pretty nice dinner tonight for the Champions Dinner. @PGAChampionship pic.twitter.com/oHuCjbErEn
