Oklahoma did what they do best to end their regular season: win.

The top-ranked Sooners earned a program record-tying fifth win of the season at the 2022 Thunderbird Collegiate, claiming the team title at 31 under, five shots clear of hosts Arizona State. Oklahoma’s lineup featured four players inside the top 20, with Chris Gotterup (T-4) and Logan McAllister (T-9) leading the way in the top 10.

“Just a great team win,” said head coach Ryan Hybl. “Everyone pitched in this week and we felt good as an entire squad all week long. It’s very difficult to come to someone else’s home course and beat them. We’re fortunate to have been able to get the job done against some really good teams.”
