Kickoff is just around the corner for Florida football’s matchup with the Tennessee Volunteers tonight and both College Gameday and SEC Nation crews made their picks for the game.
Across both shows, everyone aside from Florida alum and SEC Nation host Laura Rutledge picked the Volunteers to win the game.
The College Gameday show quickly ran through the picks for the game, so there weren’t any explanations behind the selections, but on SEC Nation, the crew was able to share their insight on the game.
“I do think it’s overlooked how good Florida has been playing,” Jordan Rodgers said on SEC Nation. “Graham Mertz and DJ Lagway (are) both playing really well. But I think Tennessee figures it out.”
Tim Tebow is leaning towards the Volunteers but doesn’t count out Florida making it competitive.
“I really think Florida’s much improved and they’re going to give Tennessee fits,” Tebow said. “I think being at Neyland (Stadium), I think Nico (Iamaleava) is just too good… At the end, the front seven for Tennessee is what really gets it done.”
