College Gameday is headed back to the ACC next weekend

What’s the record for consecutive games a team is featured on College Gameday? We feel as if that might be being set next week. Details…

Before the season we thought next Saturday’s game between Miami and Clemson had a chance to be decently big but I don’t think many, if any, had it pegged to be between a pair of top ten schools.

That is however the case as 3-0 Miami hits the road to take on No. 1 Clemson in the game of the week in college football and in a no-doubter of a decision, ESPN is sending College Gameday along for the ride.

Clemson is coming off a 41-23 win over unranked Virginia that moved the Tigers to 3-0 on the young season while Miami is coming off of a bye week after destroying Florida State a week ago and beating up Louisville on the road the week before that.

This will be the third Miami game in a row to be featured by Gameday which I don’t know to be a record of any kind but would fully assume to at least tie one.

The two teams have only played twice in the last nine years combined with Clemson winning both by a combined 96-3 margin.

Here’s to at least hoping for a lot more entertaining contest next Saturday.
