College football’s most interesting lines, week 7: MACtion, DACOACHO, and… fine, bet on Nebraska

Wherein we reveal college football’s most unbettable team and advocate… trusting in the Cornhuskers? Oh, no.

Week 6 of the college football season was chaos. Alabama lost to an unranked team for the first time in 100 tries. Texas was beating the tar out of Oklahoma until suddenly it wasn’t. Penn State lost because its backup quarterback stared into the wide eyes of competence and ran screaming in retreat.

UMass won a game.

In the aftermath, the FBS’s unbeaten ranks are down to just 13 teams, including the expecteds (Georgia, Oklahoma), some blue bloods trying to reclaim past glories (Michigan, Michigan State, Iowa… SMU) and the programs trying to write their own legends (Cincinnati sure, but also UTSA and Coastal Carolina). Only three winless squads remains: UConn, UNLV, and Arizona.

Poor, poor Arizona.

Rather than dwell on the dregs, let’s focus on the bright spots in Week 7. We’ll talk a little Power 5, some potential head coaching changes, one surprising undefeated, and the team I implore you to never, ever, place a bet anywhere near.

Let’s dig in. All lines are provided by Tipico Sportsbook.
