Today was supposed to be different. We were supposed to be getting up with Week Zero upon us, College Gameday airing from Dublin and the college football season officially getting underway with Notre Dame and Navy being the main course.
Then a global pandemic hit, the world changed forever and college football made adjustments with some schools and conferences canceling their seasons altogether and the rest having to make a thorough change of plans.
Instead of an early start for a handful of Power Five teams we get one game this evening.
Austin Peay takes on Central Arkansas at 9:00 p.m. ET tonight on ESPN.
I won’t pretend to act like I know anything about either of these programs other than I know Scottie Pippen attended college at Central Arkansas and that they’re the one opponent North Dakota State will be playing in 2020.
For those interested, Central Arkansas is a five point favorite over Austin Peay with a the total of 45.5.

You can watch the game tonight on ESPN to scratch that college football itch.
