As we inch closer to games being played in the world of college football we can officially now say that it’s game month.
Teams participating in Week 0 this year can say that anyway and since Notre Dame is, we’re happy to in these parts.
To close July we took a guess at what the preseason USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll and AP Top 25 polls might look like by making a composite of some respected preseason forecasters. If you haven’t checked it out yet we encourage you to do so.
In the spirit of preseason rankings though, August 1 was the NCAA‘s turn to take a swing. Notre Dame checked in exactly in the middle of the NCAA’s top 25 at No. 13. See where a few Irish opponents checked in and who else filled out the top five and 10 below.
