Where is Georgia in the most recent College Football Playoff rankings?

After a blowout win over South Carolina on Saturday, the Georgia Bulldogs moved from No. 9 to No. 8 in the most recent College Football Playoff rankings.

The top-five remained the same:

1. Alabama
2. Notre Dame
3. Clemson
4. Ohio State
5. Texas A&M

Georgia is one of four SEC teams in the top-25. Florida sits at No. 6 and Auburn dropped out of the rankings after losing to Alabama.

The Dawgs’ offense had another great showing behind JT Daniels at quarterback.

The night’s top performer on offense was undoubtedly running back James Cook, while defensive back Lewis Cine had a huge game defensively.

Cook ran for 104 yards and 2 touchdowns on only 6 carries while Cine tallied 12 tackles.
