Iowa is looking to keep the good times rolling this weekend when it travels to Minnesota. That’s the good times as in the past three weeks for Iowa and that’s the good times as in the last seven years for the Hawkeyes.
Obviously, Iowa has won its last three over Northwestern, Purdue and Wisconsin. The Hawkeyes have also won seven in a row over the Golden Gophers.
Kirk Ferentz knows it will be a serious challenge at Minnesota, though.
“So the success they’ve had, it’s earned for sure. And bottom line is we’re going up there, it’s a November road contest, a rivalry game, and we’ll have to play our best to be in this thing. A lot of respect for them, 20 wins in the last two regular seasons. Subtract the COVID year, so they’ve done a really good job,” Ferentz said.
In order to keep their Big Ten West hopes alive, Iowa needs to win come Saturday. So, will the Hawkeyes get it done? Let’s see what College Football News had to say.
