College football analyst points out Shedeur Sanders’ remarkable record as a starting QB

Shedeur Sanders’ remarkable record as a starting QB is another reason why he’s ready for his first Power Five season

Shedeur Sanders is more than ready for the leap to Power Five football.

His skillset passes the eye test and perhaps just as important, his team typically finds the win column when he’s starting at quarterback. FOX college football analyst RJ Young pointed out last week that in six combined seasons at Trinity Christian High School and Jackson State, Sanders’ starting record is 70-8, which equates to a winning percentage of just under .900.

The individual statistics that Colorado’s new starting QB produced at his two previous stops are equally impressive. Under current CU linebackers coach Andre’ Hart, Sanders threw for 12,627 yards and 166 touchdowns at Trinity Christian and was rated a four-star prospect by most recruiting outlets.

Sanders then racked up 6,983 passing yards and 79 total touchdowns in his two seasons at JSU. The Pac-12 may be a considerable step up from the FCS, but Sanders has proven himself equipped for the challenge.
