Is Cody Rhodes going to play along with The Rock vs. Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40, or is he about to shake things up this evening?
Either way, he seems to have decided what path he’s taking. The American Nightmare posted a simple message to his Instagram story this afternoon: “I’ve made my decision.”

Rhodes, of course, seemed to be on track for a WrestleMania rematch with Reigns until The Rock dramatically inserted himself back into the mix on the Feb. 2 episode of SmackDown. WWE has slyly avoided having Rhodes definitively announce who he’d face, leaving open the option that he’d face Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship — a match that Rollins openly campaigned to make.
There now seem to be a number of options WWE could choose, including a Triple Threat scenario or somehow keeping The Rock on the shelf until further down the road. It’s expected that we’ll all learn what’s been decided during the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff, which takes place at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT tonight, streaming live from Las Vegas.
