The drama surrounding the Boston Celtics recently has been focused on coach Ime Udoka. The coach getting ready to enter his second season with the C’s is facing a year-long suspension amid the news that he had an improper consensual relationship with a woman Celtics employee.
Amid all of the drama, there were reports that Udoka was considering resignation. This would be a bit of a surprise considering the success he and the Celtics had in their first year together with their run to the NBA Finals, but maybe the stress is just too much for him.
However, per Yahoo! Sports’ Chris Haynes, Udoka will not resign from the position. He will await his punishment from the organization through this process.

This is an unfortunate situation for Udoka and the Celtics, and the coach will receive his punishment in due time, but after he serves out the sanctions, he will be back on the sidelines looking to lead the team to a title.
