The Philadelphia 76ers are in the driver’s seat. They created a ton of cap space for this very moment as they appear to be all in on Los Angeles Clippers star Paul George.
George, who spent the previous five seasons with the Clippers, was in negotiations with the organization to try and remain in LA. However, George and the Clippers have just not been able to agree on the terms of the deal. George wants a fourth season while the Clippers are reluctant to give him more than three years.
With that said, the Clippers know they have lost the bidding war. The organization released a statement thanking George for his services and wishing him luck in his future endeavors.

The Sixers are the absolute frontrunners for George now. With the Orlando Magic signing Kentavious Caldwell-Pope to his deal, the only other team that can offer George a 4-year max is the Detroit Pistons and one can assume that George has no interest in joining the Pistons.
