After the game, the team shipped G D’Angelo Russell to the Brooklyn Nets for F Dorian Finney-Smith, whose 3-and-D should solidify the wing. He’s expected to make his debut Tuesday.

I really wanted to bet Lakers here. They’re hot, at home, and Cleveland is on a West Coast back-to-back. What fizzled out for me, though, is Finney-Smith’s inclusion into the rotation. That will require time to gel, and he’s also not as good of a scorer as D’lo is.
So, we’ll save that thought process for the spread.
Instead, we’re going with ANTHONY DAVIS OVER 25.5 POINTS (-115). Here’s why. In the first meeting with Cleveland, he had 22 points (9-for-17 from the floor) and 13 boards while watching C Jarrett Allen on the other side erupt for 20 points and 17 boards. He’ll remember that and get going early and often.

Against the spread
Take the LAKERS +5.5 (-115). They’re 10-4 at home on the season, and Cleveland has been to Denver, Golden State and now LA. The Lakers could win outright, but I’ll take the points.
Over/Under
The Cavs are 8-2 O/U in their last 10, and the Lakers are 5-5. The Oct. 30 matchup in Cleveland went way Over the 226.5 total with 244 points. The Lakers have hit the Over in 3 straight, and we’re going OVER 228.5 (-105).
