The Cleveland Cavaliers (33-5) face the Indiana Pacers (22-18) in an Eastern Conference battle Tuesday. Tip-off from Gainbridge Fieldhouse is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET (TNT/truTV/Max). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NBA odds around the Cavaliers vs. Pacers odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions for the best bets.
Season series: Pacers lead 1-0
The Cavs snapped their 12-game winning streak Sunday on the front end of this home-and-home with the Pacers. Indy took them down 108-93, covering as a 9-point favorite with the Under (239) cashing. The Cavs grinded out 5 games in 10 days and shot just 39.8% from the floor in the stinker. G Darius Garland had 20 points and 7 assists, while G Donovan Mitchell added 19 points in the loss.
The Pacers have won 6 straight and 7 of 8. They’re showing last season’s offensive surge while also holding opponents to under 100 points in 3 of the last 4 game. G Tyrese Haliburton only played 19 minutes Sunday and is doubtful for this one, though. Six players were in double figures, and F Pascal Siakam shrugged off 8-for-21 shooting from the floor for 18 points and 9 boards. C Myles Turner recorded a double-double, knocking down 15 points with 10 rebounds.

Cavaliers at Pacers and predictions
Prediction
Cavaliers 113, Pacers 108
Moneyline
I concur with the books that Cleveland exacts its revenge in this one. However, there’s no chance we’re paying -350 for it to happen.
Instead, I’m taking DONOVAN MITCHELL UNDER 22.5 POINTS (+105). Yes, you read that, right. He has been under 20 for 4 straight games while Garland and F Evan Mobley have been the bellcows.
Against the spread
I’m still riding with the PACERS +8.5 (-115) here. As mentioned above, They were 9-point ‘dogs and won in Cleveland last time out. So. I like the idea of +8.5 at home, despite Haliburton’s absence. He really didn’t do much in that game to begin with, and the Pacers have a deep bench that can shoot it.
Over/Under
The Pacers have gone Under in 4 straight, but the Cavs are 7-3 O/U in their last 10. I just don’t see either of these teams eclipsing 120 points in order to clear an Over. The Cavs appeared winded in the last game, and the Pacers are short-handed.
TAKE UNDER 232.5 (-110).
