Cavaliers at Rockets: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Cavaliers 109, Rockets 101

Money line (ML)

The Rockets have lost 11 games in a row. They faced the Cavs on the road last week and lost 112-96 as 5.5-point favorites.

The Cavaliers have won three straight games but were coming off a 10-game losing skid, so this game features two of the most struggling teams in the league. Houston is coming off a 49-point loss at home Sunday, so the Rockets appear to be reeling and have lost by an average of 24 points in their last four games, losing all by double digits.

The Rockets seem to have given up and are looking to the All-Star break. Take the CAVALIERS (+110).

Against the spread (ATS)

Not only have the Rockets lost 11 in a row, but they have also covered the spread only once in those 11 games.

The Cavs covered the spread in each of their last three games. The teams have the league’s two lowest cover percentages (Cleveland 38.2% and Houston 34.4%). That drops to 23.1% at home for Houston, while Cleveland is 25.0% on the road.

Take the CAVALIERS +2 (-110).

Over/Under (O/U)

Both teams are among the lowest in Over percentages this season. Cleveland’s games go Over only 42.4% of the time and Houston’s go over 38.7% of the time.

Houston has scored 100 or fewer points in three of four games and the Cavs have scored exactly 112 in each of their last three games.

ake UNDER 216.5 POINTS (-110).
