Cleveland Browns at Baltimore Ravens odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Sunday’s Cleveland Browns at Baltimore Ravens Week 12 odds and lines, with expert NFL picks, predictions and best bets.

The Cleveland Browns (6-5) and Baltimore Ravens (7-3) meet in the Week 12 Sunday Night Football game on NBC. Kickoff for this AFC North showdown is scheduled for 8:20 p.m. ET at M&T Bank Stadium. Below, we look at the Browns vs. Ravens odds and lines, and make our best NFL picks, predictions and bets.

The Browns alternated wins and losses over their last six games, recently beating the winless Detroit Lions 13-10 at home in Week 11 despite not scoring in the second half. RB Nick Chubb returned to the lineup after a one-game absence due to COVID-19 and ran for 130 yards (22 carries) and pulled in a touchdown pass, but Cleveland failed to cover as a 14-point favorite.

The Ravens alternated wins and losses in their last five games. With QB Lamar Jackson a late scratch due to an illness, Baltimore rallied for a 16-13 victory at the Chicago Bears last weekend. Backup QB Tyler Huntley steered a five-play, 72-yard winning drive, which concluded with RB Devonta Freeman’s 3-yard TD run with 22 seconds left as the Ravens covered as 1-point favorites (they were 5.5-point favorites before the late scratch of Jackson).

Jackson is expected to play Sunday night.

Browns at Ravens odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Ravens 27, Browns 24

Money line

PASS. Baltimore is 4-1 at home this season, while Cleveland is 2-3 on the road, but the Ravens’ -190 price is just a bit higher than I prefer.

Against the spread

CLEVELAND +3.5 (-112) is the way to go. The Browns are 3-2 ATS on the road. The Ravens, who have several injury issues in their secondary, are 2-3 ATS at home.

Cleveland is a dangerous squad when Chubb is in the lineup. The tailback, who has four 100-yard rushing games in his last six games, leads a Browns rushing attack that tops the league with 156.8 yards per game.

It won’t come easy though. The Baltimore defense ranks second in rushing yards allowed per game (88.6).

Look for Chubb to record another 100-yard performance, but the Browns will come up short by a field goal.

Over/Under

OVER 46.5 (-115) is the STRONGEST PLAY – 1½ times your usual wager.

Put these two on primetime TV and it shouldn’t disappoint.

The Ravens and Browns hooked up for a wild 47-42 contest in their last meeting with Baltimore winning in Cleveland in last season’s Week 14 Monday Night Football matchup.

Don’t expect as many points in this one, but cashing an OVER 46.5 (-115) ticket shouldn’t be a problem.
