Clemson pulled away in the second half to secure an 85-71 victory over Stanford on Wednesday at Littlejohn Coliseum.
A dominant 10-0 run midway through the second half turned a tied game into a commanding lead, with key contributions from Jaeden Zackery, Chase Hunter, and Ian Schieffelin. The Tigers never looked back, extending their advantage to as many as 16 points late in the game.
Chase Hunter led the way with 22 points, while Chauncey Wiggins added 17, shooting 4-of-5 from beyond the arc. Zackery chipped in 16 points and played a pivotal role defensively as Clemson forced 14 steals.
With the win, Clemson improved to 11-3 overall and 3-0 in ACC play for the second straight season. The Tigers will look to stay hot when they host California this Saturday at 8:30 p.m.
