Cade Klubnik has been a standout force for Clemson football, driving the Tigers to an impressive start in ACC play this season. In last week’s win over Wake Forest, he put on a show with over 300 passing yards and delivered big plays that kept Clemson’s offense firing on all cylinders.
While fans are quick to praise Klubnik’s individual performance, he emphasizes that his success is a team effort. “It’s not just me out there,” he shared. “The offensive line is putting in a huge effort, the receivers are doing an amazing job, and I’ve got one of the best running backs in the country right beside me. We’re all working together to make things happen.”
Having faced criticism in the past, Klubnik understands the highs and lows of being in the spotlight. He knows quarterbacks often receive both excessive praise and unwarranted blame. “That’s just part of the job,” he explained.
“Anytime I can, I want to give credit to the guys around me. They’re out there grinding every day, too.”
How quickly things can change, right? From considered a near consensus bust to one of the best quarterbacks in college football. Klubnik and the Tigers coaching staff deserve credit for this turnaround.
As Clemson gears up to face Virginia on Saturday, Klubnik looks forward to another opportunity to lead his team and keep building Tigers’ strong season start. Kickoff is set for noon on ACC Network.
