Whether it’s high schools doing it or American Legion players or even those in Major League Baseball, the hidden ball trick is always amazing, entertaining and a delight.
So, here you go: Clemson was playing Coastal Carolina in the 2024 NCAA regionals, when Tigers third baseman Blake Wright made a move to hand the ball back to pitcher Ethan Darden in a glove-to-glove move. But Wright waited for the Chanticleers runner on third to step off, and when Dean Mihos did, Wright tagged him for an out.
Brilliant. Here’s the moment that everyone loved, and with good reason! It’s the best!
