Clemson men’s basketball NCAA tournament history

Take a look at Clemson’s history in the NCAA tournament.

After Virginia Tech defeated Clemson men’s basketball on a buzzer-beating 3-pointer, the Tigers were kicked out of the ACC Tournament with no hope of a bid to March Madness.

With no tournament appearance for the Tigers, this season marks the 17th season since 2000 that Clemson failed to participate in the tournament.

The Tigers had a promising 9-4 start to the year, but a six-game losing streak and injuries proved to be too much for them to overcome.

On a bright note, one of the Tigers who suffered an injury, sophomore center PJ Hall, proved to be one of the nation’s most improved players.

In 30 games, Hall averaged 15.5 points and 1.3 blocks per game, 12 more points and 1.1 more blocks than last season.

With this year’s tournament beginning Thursday, let’s take a look back at all of Clemson’s past appearances.
