Clemson lands commitment from California native

Bakich continues to produce in recruiting.

Erik Bakich and Clemson baseball have been doing an excellent job recruiting since he joined the program, with another top recruiting committing to the Tigers.

Tyler Paul (TP) Wentworth, an outfielder/lefthanded pitcher from Central Catholic (Modesto, Calif.), took to social media to announce his commitment to play for Bakich and the Tigers. He currently ranks as an 8.5 Perfect Game grade, which is between lands at a potential MLB draft pick/excellent college prospect and a potential top 10 round pick and highest-level college prospect.

In his junior season, according to MaxPreps, Wentworth hit .383 and logged nine wins (with two no-hitters) and a 1.29 ERA as a junior. Another great pickup for Clemson.
